OUR MISSION

Our Values and Goals

 Accessibility and open communication:

  • Calls and emails are almost always answered with 24 hours
  • Sensitivity to our clients' needs
  • Commitment and dedication
  • Flexibility to work around your needs
  • Accurate assessment of your claim
  • Attention to detail
  • Quality, ethical representation

Personal Attention

Mark R. Bower is a sole practitioner.  We intentionally keep our case inventory small, so that we can give each client his individual, personal attention.  We are on a first-name basis with our clients, and know your case by name, not some case number!

Honest, Ethical Representation

Mark is the longest-serving member of the Ethics Committee of the NY County Lawyers Association, and devotes two pro bono weeks a year answering the "Ethics Hot Line," giving ethical guidance to other attorneys. His practice always maintains the highest ethical standards, and has the highest rating for ethics and ability.

Risk and Cost-Free Consultations

All inquiries are handled free-of-charge and without obligation.  We give  honest, straight answers (not "happy talk") to all serious questions.

All cases are taken on a contingency fee basis; that is, our fee will be a percentage of the recovery. No recovery = no fee. The percentage varies according to state rules and customs.

Credentials

Mark is a former Court TV Commentator, a 35-year member of the Million Dollar Advocates Club, an Associate of the American College of Legal Medicine, and one of the few select Board-Certified Fellows in Medical Professional Liability (medical malpractice) of the prestigious American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys.
